Excellent day out as always
Great as always!
Brilliant day out again!
This is always such a brilliant weekend which encourages beginners and those who aren't "racing" to challenge themselves, without ludicrous and unachievable cutoffs.
Could do with a new medal design though (or just a lanyard with year on). I have 5 identical ones now!
Another great Trail Outlaws event!

Had a brilliant weekend felt welcomed and totally at ease great event well organised and the safety was second to non on such a long and tough run
Caroline Clason
Fantastic race with a friendly atmosphere in a gorgeous setting. Tough terrain in places, but just the right amount of challenge to make this a thoroughly enjoyable but tough run. Can't wait to do it again!

The Beauty of the beast!
So good to see Tim and his awesome team doing such a fab job on this cracking race. The marshals were all superb and fair play to the MRT too who were all out in gnarly windy conditions! I love the Cheviots and their boggy beautiful wilderness and this race just gives you some of the best of the best! Hadn’t done this since 2017 and the snowy icy one and kept thinking this has to be a yearly thing now. Thank you for everything (the real hug from Tim and the hug in a cup from the lush finish line soup) capped it all off

Pretty. Hard but pretty

Friendly and supportive atmosphere.
A proper leg burner.
Great day out

Great event, very relaxed atmosphere throughout and great support around the course from Mountain Rescue and volunteers. Amazing scenery and great location for this run.
paige Ainsley
very scenic wild and steep hilly
One of the hardest trails by far for me , what an excellent challenge for me too .
Not one for beginners as race needs to complete in 4 hours for half marathon .
The website is great merch is great the medal for woolers race was lovely .
I think there could have a few more flags dotted about on route for people I knew to keep running in a direction for ages but some people may have issues locating it .
Ben Hickson
Challenging but amazing route. Organisation was great. A great experience and one to repeat.
Liz Gray
Tough but beautiful route, with excellent atmosphere and enthusiastic marshals.
Water on the finish line would be a nice addition, but really well organised- thanks!

Tough But Such Good Fun!
This was my toughest half marathon yet, but the atmosphere, organisation, course and post run facilities were excellent. I’ll definitely be back next year to give my legs a pasting

Great Event
I love these trail races, the Wooler half has fantastic views, very undulating and not for the faint hearted.
Well organised and marked out course, the competitors are very friendly and the Marshals deserve a medal, they are all wonderful.
Colin Herron
This is a friendly but hard run in the most beautiful scenery
Its not flat!
