Amazing as always! The only thing about these events that are hard is the actual running itself. Everything else is a breeze, the instructions, pre race info, following the course markers, the Marshalls.
Everything is made to make your experience the best it can be and leave your mind to focus on the task of preparing your mind for the amazing experience of running these events.

A tremendous race very well organised and perfectly signed allowing runners to enjoy the beautiful scenic Cheviots and not worry about map reading and route worries.

I keep coming back to this trail race because its value for money and well organised but the main reason is that its not like running in the North Yorkshire Moors or the Lakes. Its brutally exposed, muddy, windy, cold but the views are without doubt the best ive ever experienced. Please dont tell too many people about it!

This is always such a brilliant weekend which encourages beginners and those who aren't "racing" to challenge themselves, without ludicrous and unachievable cutoffs.
Could do with a new medal design though (or just a lanyard with year on). I have 4 identical ones now!

Challenging running over a well-marked route. Good organisation, great location, and is worth the entry fee. Would do this event again, and will spread the word.
