I love every outlaw event ❤️
David White
Fantastic scenery, great route
Mark Richards
Excellent! Never disappoints!
Amazing as always! The only thing about these events that are hard is the actual running itself. Everything else is a breeze, the instructions, pre race info, following the course markers, the Marshalls.
Everything is made to make your experience the best it can be and leave your mind to focus on the task of preparing your mind for the amazing experience of running these events.
Thank you once again for putting on a great event, top notch as always

Hard but worth it.
Really enjoyed Wooler Marathon. The views where good, good atmosphere and the food was good, especially friday night dinner.

Brutal but beautiful

Tremendous event
A tremendous race very well organised and perfectly signed allowing runners to enjoy the beautiful scenic Cheviots and not worry about map reading and route worries.
Kevin O'Neill
Clarty fun in the Cheviots!

Stunning
Jenny Hamilton
Absolutely cracking scenery - it was a real challenge but I love it. Will be back.

Quality
I keep coming back to this trail race because its value for money and well organised but the main reason is that its not like running in the North Yorkshire Moors or the Lakes. Its brutally exposed, muddy, windy, cold but the views are without doubt the best ive ever experienced. Please dont tell too many people about it!

Great as always!
Brilliant day out again.
Lover the waxed energy bars! I'm converted.
This is always such a brilliant weekend which encourages beginners and those who aren't "racing" to challenge themselves, without ludicrous and unachievable cutoffs.
Could do with a new medal design though (or just a lanyard with year on). I have 4 identical ones now!
Tamsin May
Picturesque, brutally difficult trail marathon. An amazing challenge.
Matt Morrison
Brilliant run brutal but brilliant lol
Moorland running at its toughest and best
Challenging running over a well-marked route. Good organisation, great location, and is worth the entry fee. Would do this event again, and will spread the word.
Simon Russell
Hardest race I've ever done. Can't wait for next year
Johnathon Penketh
Very well organised enjoyable event
I would recommend to anyone very good challenging route
Orlando Hill
Great fun
The results online are clearly faulty - it would be great to get these sorted out so everyone could know their time and position they came.
Thanks
Imogen Murray
Friendly!
This feedback is based on being an injured runner who had to pull out, but came to the event to support others. I cycled on my bike to six points on the course so I could cheer people on.
Firstly, I really think the ‘ refundable places’ should be scrapped. I appreciate it is through a third party, but the terms and conditions basically mean it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a refund for injury. I had a physio letter; but this wasn’t accepted and they demanded a letter from a GP. This is really not a good use of NHS resources ( speaking as an NHS doctor!)
There was a great atmosphere. Perhaps there could have been Marshalls at a few points to cheer people on.
Hopefully I will return as a runner next year - if so I won’t bother with a ‘ refundable’ place though!

Fun, beautiful, friendly
My only suggestion for improvement would be to reconsider medals to save money and reduce environmental impacts of the event. Personally, I'm never sure what to do with medals and I would rather the carbon emissions, pollution and other environmental harms associated with producing and shipping them.
