It's a tough event and some of the pleasure is retrospective.

A great challenge for trail run lovers. Nice mix of undulating terrain. Beautiful area. Good atmosphere and great views from start and st the finish.

My first time doing a Trail Outlaw race and this didn’t disappoint. Very challenging route but really well organised. Atmosphere was great and all the Marshalls were super friendly

4th penshaw 10k and it's a killer but brilliant

Fab volunteers and a slightly tricky course but if you love a challenge and aren't afraid of steps, give it a go!

Bespoke medals are amazing ! I find your events value for money and always scenic routes . I’ve been doing these for years however after receiving a wooden medal at penshaw half I was disappointed as well as a large group I was running with who said they wouldn’t do another trail outlaws event until medals were changed . . I have a got a fab collection of your medals including the dog tag ones that are my favourite . So massive thank you for going back to these unique personalised medals . Your events are very well

Loved the course. Never fails to disappoint with the brutal hills at the end! And when i say end, i mean last 3 miles

Great morning trail race i loved everything about the race and the organisation i couldnt fault the run or organisation but a couple of points to make which im sure will be addressed anyway. Toilets never showed up before race unfortunately this was out of the organisers hand as they had ordered them but they never showed up. But we were in nature anyway lol. Other point just have all marshalls at there posting before the race starts and also know the route for turning points. But again I understand this is a voluntary thing so ya have to have a little leeway. Not a criticism just an observation. Overall im still very happy and satisfied with my first ever Trail Outlaws and I will be back ☺️

Disappointing I haven't heard results yet, so don't know how long it took me to complete.

I run with my 8 year old daughter, I enter these events to help her with her running confidence, strength, distance but mainly so we can spend some time together doing something we both enjoy. It’s not a race for us, it’s time out together.

Really enjoyed the event, the route was enjoyable the sort of trail I like but a tough final 2 miles to finish.

Don't underestimate especially in hot weather. Very enjoyable and excellent scenery.
