This is an excellent race and the work done to put it together is also admirable. However, the lack of refreshments at the end of the race is disappointing. I went to get water and could barely get any out of the dispenser. Given the money paid and compared to other races of a similar distance, a few recovery refreshments would be appreciated.

The bottle neck in the woods with runners coming back from a loop meant some of front runners were impatient and just plowed through leaving us slower runners pushed into the bushes and could have caused injury.

This is my favourite of the Urban Trails series. Takes in fabulous undulating trails along the Wear woodlands. The hills in the the last 5k always make it that bit more challenging

I did the 5k which was great for beginners to trail running. It was well signposted and the marshalls were great. The scenery was beautiful and I hope to take on the 10 miler next year!

Fab event from Trail Outlaws again, organised brilliantly. Fabulous route. Sure you could have squeezed another hill though

I am a slow runner but there is no pressure. Always stunning scenery and always a challenging route. Thank you for continuing to put on 5K options. Really enjoyed Durham today.

Loved it. Despite the last 5k, with the killer inclines.. Nice friendly atmosphere, great t shirt and medal. The only niggle the finish funnel, I nearly went the wrong way. But definitely come back for another.

Sweeties at the end would have helped!!

I've done several Trail Outlaws and they are always great events. Friendly and well organised.

Durham Trail 10M was a lovely route with a great mix of terrain.

Just don't mention the hills

1 thing to feedback. I got to the bridge at about 9 mile. The marshalls were chatting and the arrow said to turn right but there was many runners and me and a few runners went the wrong way. A few people shouted at the marshalls and to stop them talking.

Great event today for the 10 miler. Tough but really enjoyed it.

Only negative I have is the out and back at around 4 miles. Youve got people running in both directions on a very narrow path which may be a bit dangerous. Several times I had to stop and get out of the way for the faster runners coming towards me.

Third time around this race. Little bit of everything with some tough hills thrown in. Well organised, signposted and plenty of fuelling stations.
