Fantastic event
Always well organised and a friendly atmosphere, weather your a seasoned runner or novice.
Kielder is such a fabulous place, though this event takes place in the evening, so mostly dark, but you get to catch the sunset.

Extremely friendly, well organised. Nice route.
The course was over a mile longer than advertised. Which is so hard when you’re expecting to finish at 26.6. And then you’re staggering around in the dark wondering where the end is. Felt like I wanted my T shirt and medal distance to be reprinted to reflect how far I’d actually gone.

Wonderful event and very friendly atmosphere. Marshals all very friendly, but there were a couple of places the signage could have been better - could easily have gone wrong!!!

A great, hilly run but longer than advertised.
The route had arrow markings that you needed to use a light to spot a rectangular reflector- this was quite indistinct in the dark from other reflectors about making navigation harder than needed at times.
It would be nice to have a medal with the actual distance covered on.

Challenging route
The volunteers were very friendly and welcoming. The run is unique with exceptional scenery and great dark skies views.
The route was different this year to when I last done it. It was a little over 27.5miles so be wanted for the extra miles and hills!
